True, McCain wants to make the rich richer and Obama wants to get the middle-class back on its feet

Obama believes that wealth trickles up (common sense) so does Warren Buffett.
McCain thinks wealth trickles down (retarded)

Isn’t everyone for wealth creation? How we get to that point is really the debated issue. If that truly is Mccain’s statement, he needs to work on it. That’s basically like saying “I like money”.

Wealth creation comes from the top down..No matter how you slice it. Cutting corporate taxes allows the corporation to hire more people.
Hiring more people, less unemployment, less unemployment,=more liquid flow into the economy, more cash flow= John Mccain

MCCain is saying power and money will rule so how can those who have nothing near that possibly have a chance to the same things when we know that they alwasy keep others down.
They dont want us to have the same things they have by holding us back however they can.

True. Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wants to “spread the wealth around”.
Where have you been?

The tax system, current and past, redistributes wealth. If Obama becomes President, many people are worried he is going to increase taxes. He says he is not. If he does, that would make him a liar, which I guess one could say that about all elected officials, at one time or another.
McCain’s remarks probably can be chalked up to “desperation,” because he ran a poor campaign, and he’s losing, doesn’t really have any answers, and time is running out.

LOL… We know how repugs are creating wealth (for top 5% ). Was watching them in action for 8 years…

Just another example of how indispensable Jon Stewart and the Daily Show are, catching things the media don’t. McCain and Palin (indeed, the entire GOP establishment) have been bashing Obama as a “socialist” the past few days for having the audacity to propose raising the top tax rate from 36% to 39% while giving working folks (95% of the rest of us) some relief. The only problem: Stewart dug up footage of McCain making the exact same argument a scant eight years ago.
Stewart: “Now you can argue that this country has dabbled in socialism ever since the income tax was introduced, and that calling Obama’s plan ’socialist’ is a cynical ploy that even McCain realizes is a bankrupt tactic. Or, should I say, realized.”
Audience member: “Why is it that someone like my father who goes to school for 13 years gets penalized in a huge tax bracket because he’s a doctor.”
McCain: “I think it’s to some degree because we feel obviously that wealthy people can afford more.”
Audience member: “Are we getting closer and closer to, like, socialism?”
McCain: “Here’s what I really believe: That when you reach a certain level of comfort, there’s nothing wrong with paying somewhat more.”
Stewart: “That, of course, is the late socialist leader John Mccain. I believe he passed away during the Republican primaries. He will be missed.”
Devastating. I smell a viral YouTube video brewing. Or an awesome Obama ad.

True: Obama wants the minority ( rich) to pull the wagon for the rest of the country, while the 40% get a free ride.
October 3rd, 2008 at 10:55 am
McCain stands for the rich getting richer, Obama wants to help everyone survive.

Bush said he was for ‘wealth creation’ also, and look how that worked out. Why would I assume that McCain can make these policies work when they failed so dismally in the past.
BTW, the definition of wealth is based on re-distribution. Money has to circulate to create weath. Have you ever studied Kensian and Monatary policies?

Anyone with a 70 point minimum IQ would understand this ‘trickle down’ crap is just that – crap.
It doesn’t work. Now anyone else with a brain would realize that looking back at history and other economic times, that when the middle class does well and is thriving the economy as a WHOLE does well. If all it took was some rich SOB’s to trickle down their wealth and save the day why haven’t the BILLIONS of Bill Gates, Oprah, and Warren Buffet ALREADY saved the day!?!

what John mc Cain does not tell you, is, that he only wants to create wealth for his friends on wall street.
October 14th, 2008 at 10:59 pm
Barack is going to allow the bush tax cuts to expire, So he will not be “raising” your taxes but your taxes will increase!! by tousands of dollars per year!!
October 15th, 2008 at 7:35 am
Exactly. Obama wants to tax small business. In turn the cost will be passed on to the consumer, eventually forcing the business to close thereby leaving the *middle class* without jobs!
Aren’t jobs the best way to support the middle class???????

An average person can become wealthy by starting their own business; but if the government overtaxes businesses, new businesses do not start up and jobs disappear for workers.
